New Old House: Mudroom Makeover, Part III
Clearing out this space is certainly not the most fun part, but it does allow me to really take stock of what I have in the room.
Assessing what will go back in and what I need to find another home for will be after the room is ready, but it certainly plants seeds about what I want to do. Getting the room clear gets me geared up for this long-awaited project!
Seeing the room empty lets me really start thinking about future storage options and layout. It also shows all the nicks and holes and cracks! But a liberal application of spackle and a sanding sponge work wonders.
While the spackle is drying, I’m going to get started on taping and cutting in with the paint. Finally some color! I really love this part. I know, weird, huh?
